Balcony View Leadership is a consulting business focused on assisting individuals in leadership development, mentoring, coaching, and promotional preparation, and assisting agencies and organizations with problem solving, development of personnel, and project management. The services include organizational assessments and training in a variety of concepts including problem-solving, leadership, and public and media relations, including crisis communications. Opportunities to assist businesses focused on technology or other products designed to help public agencies serve communities efficiently and safely.

The name “Balcony View Leadership” is derived from long utilized, tried and tested concepts described in Ron Heifetz and Marty Linsky’s “Leadership on the Line,” in which the two long-respected authors encourage leaders to elevate themselves out of the sometimes chaotic operational space and take a higher perspective, from which they can get a better read on what may need to be done to evolve and improve.

 

Balcony View Leadership’s founder and proprietor, Dave Norris, brings over 30 years of public sector experience primarily in small to medium-sized organizations, and including executive leadership and nonprofit board leadership. Dave proudly brings a strong history of leadership development, change management, and managing complex situations and initiatives to successful outcomes.
